80: A VERY FINE GEMSTONE SET 18K PEACOCK FIGURAL BROOC

A beautifully executed figural brooch, the feathers of the train represented by faceted oval natural sapphires interspersed with the occasional round .03ct. full-cut brilliant diamond, six navette shape Columbian emeralds portray leaves on the gold branch, ninety-eight .01ct full-cut round brilliant diamonds cover the body and wings, the head crest and eye are set with ruby cabochons. Stamped mark of 18k, measures 3.75 x 1.75 inches, weighs 39.3 grams. Reticulated at the mid point, the tail is animated independent of the body.
Excellent condition. Appears to be unworn.
