136: AN EXCEPTIONAL PAIR 19TH C. FRENCH BRONZE LAMPS

Each composed of bronze-patinated and parcel-gilt bronze and parcel gilt brass in the Louis XVI style of Claude Michel Clodion (French 1738-1814), now electrified with two lights, the standard modeled as grouping of putti surmounting a gilded drum pedestal base with masks and adored dolphin feet, the gilded bronze mid-rib, neck and chimney decorated with molded flora, guilloche and scrollwork. Fitted with a white silk shade having shaped canted corners.
Measures 17.75 to top of base, 31.25 inches to the top of the finial.
Very fine condition overall, there are no issues of damage, wear or repair, clean fine shades and all else.
