Each of rectangular form with hinged lid, one with carved roses and leaves to lid and bands of floral arcading to the body; the other with eight inlaid 8-point star design, opening to reveal a void interior for storage of pencils or other instruments.
Measure 1.6 x 6 x 3.25 inches and 1.5 x 7.25 x 2.75 inches.
