220: SET OF TWO EARLY 20TH C. LOUIS XIV STYLE BERGERES

A set of two fine examples, the arched crest centering carved roses continuing to gently down-curved armrests ending in scrolled handrests, on incurving supports enclosing a padded back and seat on a serpentine seat rail raised on cylindrical fluted legs.
Each measures 39.5 x 26.5 x 25 inches.
Very fine condition free from damage, repair, wear, stain or any evidence of use. A very few areas of light wear, on high points of the carvings, some feet show minor marring and wear from vacuum sweeper contact.
