A navette form basket on conforming pedestal foot, beaded rim and swing handle, saw pierced openwork decorative bands top and bottom rims, bright cut engraved foliate swags, the original cobalt blue glass insert, stamped hallmarks under the foot for Hester Bateman, London, 1785.
Measures 4.5 x 7 without the handle. Weighs 6.57 ozt. without the glass insert.
Very goo intact condition free from damage or repair.
