89: JAN ANTHEUNIS (1896-1973) GYPSUM BUST OF ERASMUS

Gypsum bust of Erasmus, painted in bronze tone paint, was issued for 'Genius and the World' series, by Jan Anteunis (active/lived in Belgium known for painting and sculpture). Series also included busts of Bach, Wagner, Rembrandt, Beethoven, Mozart, Toulouse Lautrec and Balzac. Signed 'Antheunis.'
Stands 20.5 inches.
