A nice gilt spelter example with beveled glass, double sunk dial with exposed escapement, marked 'Ansonia Clock Co.,' and patent dated June 14, 1881. As shown on page 161 of 'Ansonia Clocks & Watches,' by Tran Duy Ly, Arlington Book Company, 1998.
Measures 15 x 17.5 x 7 inches overall.
All original and good to very good, no damage or repair to dial or case. Intact and running, the timekeeping condition is not known.
