52: US WWII AAF OFFICER IKE JACKET & CRUSHER CAP, CBI

A good 'crusher' cap with metal badge, chinstrap and backstrap, leather sweatband, crazed but supple visor, approximately size 7. Lot includes an Ike jacket with theater made bullion CBI sleeve insignia, Captain bars to shoulders, pilot wing, four bullion service bars, three ribbon bars, PUC, plus US and prop/wing devices. Also the standard issue OD shirt. On a short bust form mannequin. Great display set.
Stands 32 x 19 x 8 inches.
Good condition overall, some wear and age, crown lining in the cap has turned brown and melded with the maker label.
