165: BRITISH P14 RIFLE WWI, .303 BRITISH CALIBER

Serial number W75880, P14 British rifle; very similar to the later US M1917 rifle, the "P14" in original .303 British caliber cartridge, has British mil. proofs on brass disc in the stock , has metal disc in the front part of the stock which was the base for British volley sights, 40% blued finish, US import marks on the barrel; the metal parts have wear and surface rust, wood is sound but well worn, with a well-used US M1917 bayonet and scabbard made by Remington, 1918.
