207: WORLD WAR I SMITH AND WESSON .45ACP REVOLVER

Serial number 63248, matching numbers on frame and cylinder, stamped US PROPERTY on lower barrel and 'US ARMY MODEL 1917' on bottom of frame next to the swivel, 'SMITH & WESSON' TRADEMARK on upper part of the 5 1/2 inch barrel. Barrel is dirty but not pitted. 95% original blued finish! A couple of dings and surface wear on sharp edges. Has original wood grips which are sound have minor dings. This is a beautiful all original nothing modified WWI issue revolver!!!!! .45ACP cal.
