The artist's title Penitente Fires refers to a New World religious ceremony in New Mexico with roots in Catholicism. The artist's technique in this print has achieved a velvety aquatint burr.
Image measures 11 x 13.75, sheet size 12.5 x 16.5, the frame is 20.25 x 22.5 inches.
Very good, very faint mat burn, not laid down.
