A bail handled disc shape stoneware canteen with design of elk in relief highlighted in blue, pressed patterns of leaves and raised lettering of BARDWELL'S ROOT BEER, unsigned, attributed to White's Stoneware, Utica New York, circa 1890s.
Measures 11.5 x 10 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. A firing line in one of the base rails.
