121: A GOOD LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY ACOMA WATER JAR

The nicely proportioned form with short collar on the tall, bulbous, tapering form, four large central sun allegory designs center the body, the short collar incorporates repeating optic designs, the base is decorated in red slip and has a concave center on the underneath side.
Measures 8.25 x 8.5 inches.
Very good condition noting the effect of age in the form of visible pitting and typical discoloration. There are no major issues of damage or repair.
