A five piece set decorated with aquatic life and plant designs on shell, lion and griffin molded blanks, each piece is stamped on the base with the markings 'Bona Fama Est Melior Zona Aurea' and world globe skewered by a sword - the mark of the Edwin Bennett Pottery Company of Baltimore Maryland. Measures from 4.5 to 15 inches. According the consignor's research, the Edwin Bennett firm was eventually acquired by Ott and Brewer.
Very good condition. There are no major chips, cracks or repairs.
