176: A CIRCA 1900 LOUIS XVI CARVED AND GILDED SOFA

The arched ribbon and and foliate carved crest rail centered on a guilloche and beaded frame above sloped and padded armrest sides continuing to scrolling acanthus hand rests on acanthus stiles flanking a padded seat with a long loose cushion, over a leaf tip and guilloche seat rail, raised on short cabriole legs ending in stylized snail feet.
Measures 42 x 65.5 x 32 inches.
Very good condition, the original gilding throughout, no damage or repair, nicely done upholstery free from odor, stain or issue of any type.
