79: A FINE 9.5 INCH NEBO STYLE 3/4 GROOVE MISSOURI AXE

A Nebo squared axe form with nice surface polish, lettered in black on the surface, 'Found Between 45th and 46th near Main St. KCMO. Provenance: the collection of Kansas City lumber man, entrepreneur and Western Art Collector Frank Paxton (1918 - 1997).
Measures 9.5 x 4 x 2.5 inches.
Some minor nick /chips along the bit area, minor small nicks at one side, groove and pole are in excellent condition, nice polish.
