Dr. Cody is best known for his detailed, precisely accurate depictions of exotic moths. This image of Budgerigars in a complex environment of fauna, fruit and foliage is inscribed to a close friend in ballpoint pen, lower left corner, 6-12-11.
Sight size measures 31 x 26.75 inches with a frame size of 34.5 x 39.5 inches.
The visible areas of this work are in excellent condition though it has not been examined outside the framing.
