A composition of three women wrapping Christ in the shroud, the light and shadow skillfully played out in Reed's velvety aquatint technique.
Image measures 12.25 x 11, sheet size 20 x 13, the frame is 22.75 x 20.5 inches.
Very good condition, not laid down, presumably the full sheet, though the side margins are close - each edge has a deckle finish with the exception of the very wide bottom, minor shadow from a previous mat, otherwise clean, no damage, stain or repair.
