168: AN IRON GARDEN BENCH SIGNED PETER TIMMES SON 1895

With a reticulated tripartite backrest each having rope-twist encadrements centering curvilinear vines and medallions, surmounted by a final tablet flanked by stylized floral crestrails, continuing to pierced coiling arms enclosing a pierced plank seat, raised on scrolling splayed legs joined by curvilinear stretchers, embossed lettering below the center seat back, PETER TIMMES SON BROOKLYN and the back side of the seat is embossed PAT MAY 7 1895. Most have a filigree casting above the seat where this bench is solid iron.
Measures 37 x 33 x 18 inches.
Very good condition. There are no breaks or repairs.
