110: 19C FRENCH LOUIS XV ROCOCO STYLE SETTEE WITH PUTTI

The carved gilt wood arched crest with profuse flourishing of C-scrolls and blooming flowers in high relief, above a sloped and padded back continuing to armrest with scrolling acanthus hand rests, the sides surmounted by recumbent putti, over a long densely padded bench seat and shaped skirt centering foliate laden rocaille, the whole on scrolling cabriole legs with cabochon carved knees and ending in massive paw feet. Upholstered in a yellow grosgrain silk upholstery with flowering bloom sinuous tendrils.
Measures 41.5 x 64 x 33 inches.
Very good condition. Fine original gilding with moderate wear ranging to heavy wear in some areas, no major damage or repair, fine modern upholstery in excellent condition, free from damage, wear or stain.
