66: FRENCH MOBIER CLOCK IN GRAIN PAINTED AND FLORAL CASE

Circa 1820, the intricately embossed brass dial surround depicting two young girls on a swing flanked by mother and father figures over the porcelain enamel dial with hand painted Roman numeral chapter ring and signatures Astor Ste Moicaire, elaborate brass hands, brass and steel lyre form pendulum with large round brass bob; displayed in tall case retaining all original pin stripe and grain painted and floral decoration.
Measures 96 x 19 x 8 inches.
Very good all original condition, running condition at the time of inspection though no timepieces can be guaranteed once removed from the premises.
