A 19th century painted wood panel from a boiserie, oil on canvas painting of flowers in urn on stone ledge, framed by beaded molding above a mirror with beaded molding flanked by applied gessoed wood carvings and moldings painted in cream with gold accents.
Measures 71 x 49.5 x 2.5 inches.
Very good condition noting the effects of age in the form of minor wear to the gold, minor losses of gesso, small chips, wood shrinkage, silvering losses to the mirror, craquelure and surface discoloration of the floral still life painting on canvas.
