46: AN UNUSUAL FLAME MAHOGANY GEORGIAN BUREAU BOOKCASE

In two parts, the rectangular molded cornice above a plain frieze over a conforming case fitted with a pair of banded astragal glazed doors each centering an oval mirror, enclosing three adjustable shelves; the projecting rectangular case having a brushing slide over a fall-front opening to reveal an interior fitted with six central pigeon holes above three stationery drawers flanked by a pair of four stacked drawers all embellished with stringing inlay, over cupboard doors and raised on inlaid block feet.
Measures 93.5 x 48 x 23 inches.
