25: A NICE PAIR 19THC. OLD PARIS PORCELAIN POTPOURRI

An exceptional pair, the domed cover with circular handle on tapering body with flared rolling rim and lion masks, vividly colored reserves of couples in conversation framed in satiny gilding, the reverse a mint green ground with delicate raised gold enamel scrolls and grisaille florals centering a coral red oval reserve with roses; the whole raised on paw feet and thick square a plinth base, unsigned.
Measures 5.5 x 4.5 inches each.
One example with a chipped rim, both display gold wear though mostly to the inside rim of one with minor wear to high points elsewhere. otherwise very good, there are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
