151: A 19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL WALNUT SIDE CABINET

The shaped rectangular marble top with frieze centering an inland roundel over a conforming case, fitted with a hinged glazed cabinet door with stringing inlay and flanked by stringing inlay stiles headed by flower and foliate pendant espagnolettes and ending in scrolling and blossoming brackets opening to reveal a shelved interior lined with yellow taffeta, raised on a plinth base and bun feet.
Measures 43 x 12.5 x 30 inches.
Good condition, noting considerable wear to the feet, darkening of the finish throughout the lower front areas and the typical effects of age and use, there are no cases of damage or abuse.
