41: AN IMPRESSIVE 83 PC SET OF SALVIATI VENETIAN GLASS

An outstanding intact table setting of 83 pieces, the shimmering avventurina-laced forms are adorned with applied rigarees, prunts and threads of light cranberry colored glass, each stem was formed by joining as many as four pieces of gold flecked molten blown glass before the decoration was applied. Included are twenty-two 7 x 3.75 inch red wine goblets, nine 5 x 2.75 inch white wine goblets, ten 4.75 x 4 inch champagne coupes, two 3 x 6 inch double handled ruffled bowls, eleven 5 x 2.5 inch water tumblers, nineteen 2.5 x 4 inch sherbets, and ten 6.75 inch plates or sherbet under-plates.

One coupe and a small sherbet with a single broken applique, otherwise very good condition with light wear and utensil marks in some instances.
