212: A 19TH CENTURY GILDED OVERMANTEL MIRROR

The plaster openwork scrolling crest on iron wire framework, rubbed original gilding with etched foliate decoration and interior beaded liner, apparently the original mirror plate.
Measures 47.75 x 30 inches.
Good condition, all original, the gilding rubbed to red undercoating in most areas, much original gilding remains, very minor edge loss or chipping in limited areas.
