59a: EARLY 20TH C. ERNST WAHLISS PORCELAIN FIGURES 21 INCHES

Male and female gardeners, a proper pair designed for display in tandem, each in 18th century dress, the male figure with gardening tools and accoutrements wearing pink jacket, orange drape at his waist and striped breeches with hand painted detail; the female figure with similarly detailed long dress, green bodice and waist wrap; each on a naturalistic base and near a tree stump. Each bear the full impressed markings under the base including Hanoverian shield ('Beehive') with blue highlights.
Measure 21 x 11 inches each.
Very good condition. There are no issues of damage, repair, restoration, chip, crack etc. There are areas of very minor gold wear.
