149: SANTA FE RAILROAD ATSF CHEMICAL DEPT BOTTLE C 1875

A tall clear bottle with embossed lettering that reads A.T.&S.F. CHEMICAL DEPT. The manufacture method includes a seam on each side that fades out approximately 1.5 to 2 inches from the hand finished top. Bottles of this manufacture method were made circa 1860 to 1890 range. The closer the seam to the top, the later the bottle. Bottles made after 1900 have mold seams all the way to the top of the rim.
Measures 11 X 3.75 inches.
Good condition, no major chips, cracks or repairs, there are minor issues of abrasion and interior discoloration.
