2133: A GUSTAV BECKER OPEN WAG CLOCK WITH LADY'S HEAD
An antique German clock circa 1880, the half-round top ornament over the crown with two ball finials, open crest with spindles and central lady's head, walnut veneer with scroll-cut door trim flanked by two half-columns, the lower pediment with drop finials on either side of a portico where the ornate brass embossed pendulum hangs in an open wag. The movement with porcelain chapter and hand painted Arabic numerals centered by an embossed brass plaque.
Measures 36.5 x 14.5 x 7 inches.
Very good condition, there are no issues of damage, repair, or major replacement or heavy wear to case or dial. Winds and runs at the time of inspection. Timepieces cannot be guaranteed once removed from the premises.
