2179: A FANCY GUSTAV BECKER TWO-WEIGHT REGULATOR

The exceptionally ornate case with mahogany veneers, the multi-tier crown with multiple finials and a lady's head, half-columns at the doors, carved lower bracket and drop finials. The time and strike movement with porcelain enamel double-sunk dial with brass trim ring and Gustav Becker maker's mark, seconds bit sub-dial, ebonized wood pendulum with large brass bob and enamel beat plate.
Measures 49.5 x 17.75 x 6.75 inches.
Very good original cosmetic condition, noting a split on the lower bracket trim molding, the finish appears to be the original, very good enamel dial free from damage or repair. The weights were not present at the time of examination, running condition is unknown, the movement is intact.
