9: AN 18K GOLD ENAMEL MASTED SHIP PIN ON LAPIS STAND

A very fine Italian 18k gold galleon or masted ship pin enameled in green, yellow and blue. Marked 18k Italy inside the hollow back. The ship pin mounts by a threaded post to the lapis and silver gilt stand. the stand with Italian hallmark and designation of .800 silver content. Total height together is 3.25 x 1.5 inches. The ship brooch alone measures 2.25h x 1.75 wide. The weight of the brooch alone is 28 grams.
Very good, noting that the flag atop the mast is slightly bent. No damage, repair or excessive wear. There may or may not be enamel loss on the underside of the ship hull at the mounting hole.
