A Staffordshire pottery group of Samson and the Lion, circa 1850, Samson in brightly patterned clothing, additional painted details and 'coleslaw' highlights on the base, a gilt line around the foot.
Measures 11 x 9 inches.
Lion shows chips to teeth, crazing throughout, no major damage or repair.
