The shaft carved with standing male figure in top hat with walking stick, British or Continental soldier and woman in dress encircling the upper portion of the shaft, a snake encircles the lower 2/3rds of the shaft, original painted detail on each figure, the snake and the turnings of the shaft, original surface overall in dark patina.
Measures 35.75 inches in length.
