A rare Missouri stoneware pitcher, scratched through the Albany slip glaze, "Nellie(?) F________ Middletown Pottery, Dec 8th, 1884".
Middletown Pottery was founded in 1883 in Montgomery County, Missouri.
Measures 7 x 6.25 inches.
Glaze misses around the rim and scattered throughout, very good condition overall, free from chips, cracks, repairs.
