164: A GEORGIAN CUT GLASS TODDY LIFTER CIRCA 1810

A small slender cut crystal bottle shape vessel with an open neck, beveled faceting at the rim and around the flat panel polished neck, cut concentric rings around the neck, cut and polished panels, a hole in the bottom of the vessel.
In lieu of a ladle or ladle type toddy lifter, a cut and polished glass Georgian toddy lifters were lowered into the punch bowl and the punch or toddy would fill the bottle through the opening in the bottom - holding a finger over the hole in the top would hold the fluid in place until it was released into a chosen receptacle.
Measures 6.25 inches high.
Very good condition, very minor roughness on some edges.
