125: HAND COLORED WOOD ENGRAVING OF STEAMSHIP C. 1860

A wood engraving published by J.W. Orr of 75 and 77 Nassau Street, New York, a pencil inscription added later identifies the ship as the British steamer S.S. Great Eastern. The Great Eastern was the largest ship ever built at the time of launch in 1858.
Image measures 13 x 22.75 in a 20.5 x 30 inch frame.
Apparently very good condition. There are no visible issues of damage or repair. This print has not been examined outside the frame.
