A red-pink Rhodonite mineral box with applied decoration in the manner of Faberge, the hinged lid centered by a diamond set monogram of Nicholas II of Russia within an oval blue guilloche enamel cartouche with diamond set border, additional applied gold metal ribbon-tied wreaths, mythical beasts and other neo-Classical motifs including some with diamonds and gemstone cabochons, spurious Russian standard marks and Faberge marks added later. There is no key. Measures 2-5/8 x 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 inches.
Excellent condition free from damage, repair, wear or replacements. No keys are present.
