129: A CIRCA 1900 14K GOLD, DIAMOND AND RUBY SET SNUFF

A rectangular engraved box, the hinged cover set with a double headed eagle on black enamel set with rose cut diamonds and surrounded by faceted ruby-colored stones, stamped mark 14k at the rim, Continental, circa 1900. Measures 5/8 x 1-3/4 x 1-7/16 inches with a weight of 42 grams.
Missing one rivet that holds the eagle emblem in place. Needs buffing to restore to high polished finish.
