202: A PAIR OF GEORGIAN DIAMOND AND EMERALD EARRINGS

A pair of late 18th to early 19th century silver over gold earrings featuring European cut, Swiss cut and mine cut diamonds in silver settings with a teardrop shape emerald, the cast silver top with nice oxidized patina on a gold substructure. Gold posts probably added later. Overall size 1 inch by 1/2 inch.
Good condition noting chips to many of the diamonds and emeralds, probably due to setting quality. The posts are probably added later.
