A 1941 Ford Coupe custom built in 1960 by Harold Mitchell (New Jersey), with a 1951 Ford flathead 239 C.I. V8 engine, dual exhaust, three Stromberg 97 carburetors, 110 horsepower, 3600 RPM, three-speed manual transmission. Called The Jellybean, this 41 Ford has been nosed and decked and the roof chopped to 6 inches Frenched 1954 Mercury headlight rims, 1949 Plymouth bumpers, running boards removed and the fenders rounded, Lake pipes, Frenched parking lights, tinted glass all round, 1953 Olds Fiesta spinner wheel covers with bullets added, Foxcraft fender skirts, the rear fender to body seams are welded and filled, painted in 1972 Dodge 'Panther Pink' with hand-rubbed lacquer and maroon metallic flames. From 1988 to 1993 this car was in 90 shows and won 82 first place trophies. VIN: B18A392122. Provenance: the Kerry Holder collection, Springfield, Missouri.
Recently pulled from storage, stain in the interior, an issue in the paint on the front driver side fender, the motor turn over freely and was in running condition when stored.
