A circa 1750 hand wrought iron rushlight holder (the scissor-like jaws portion which would hold a rush or other material soaked in grease and lit as a source of light); the rushlight holder accompanied by an iron candle socket; all mounted in a period wood stand.
Measures 12 x 5 inches.
