70: A RARE QUACK PATENT MEDICINE ADVTG MIRROR C. 1870

A rare survivor, the wood mirror frame with velvet liner is applied with molded plaster decoration and advertising for C.C. Green's elixirs: AGUE CONQUEROR - GREEN'S AUGUST FLOWER - BOSCHEE'S GERMAN SYRUP in platinum paint with blackened ground.
Measures 21.25 x 21.25 inches.
Very good condition. Subtle and minimal effects of age displayed as very minor rubs and losses to high points of the frame decoration, minor silvering loss and discoloration.
