A Japanese Hirado ware gourd shaped sake ewer with dragon spout and handle, hand-painted designs of bamboo and the legendary Zen monk Fenggan and Tiger in underglaze blue, late 19th to early 20th century. Measures 8.5 x 8 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or evidence of wear.
