289: A PAIR LATE QING DYNASTY CLOISONNE DRAGON VESSELS

A matching pair of five-clawed striding Imperial Dragon figures with upturned heads and open mouths emitting smoke surmounted by a two piece Sacred Jewel. The heads can be removed to reveal an opening to the body vessel. Pair measures 14.5 x 412 inches. The quality and detail are noteworthy.
Very good condition. There are no areas of damage, no repair, very fine patina and overall condition. The sculptural elements are somewhat askew from some perspectives.
