39: BRONZE FOUNDRY WORKER W/ GLOWING CRUCIBLE C. 1900

A large, heavy, well cast and lighted bronze sculpture - the figure of a foundry worker pouring from a heavy ladle into a glowing crucible. The crucible is mounted with textured deep red glass and set with an electric socket from beneath the red lens to create the glow seen in later images. Circa 1900, no signatures found.
Measures 19 x 16.5 x 6.5 inches.
Good original condition, complete and intact, there are lines in the red glass on top of the crucible area.
