136: FINE AND VERY ORNATE FRENCH BISQUE PORCELAIN CLOCK

A fine large clock, the surmount, a porcelain grouping of young man presenting a bird's nest to a young lady, sits atop the elaborate case with squared end handles, the pleated oval shoulder of the case behind two white bisque putto over the clock dial, extensive molded and gilded decoration along with two proper facing cameo busts on red enamel ground; the porcelain enamel dial with hand painted Roman numerals, time and strike spring driven movement.
Measures 16 x 14 x 6.5 inches.
A chipped torch, hairline crack through the base of the top grouping, a trim ring missing form the winding hole on the dial, clock movement condition is unknown.
