140a: A 17TH / 18TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL OAK COFFER

The front rail and stiles decorated by spoon carved vertical designs with rounded top, framing three panels with porticos and dropped panels, raised on square flat legs, each end with double dropped panels, the back constructed with three dropped panels.
Measures 26 x 45 x 20 inches.
Good original condition, no major damage, wear or replacement, obvious evidence of age and use.
