A circa 1830 portrait of woman with hair up and ringlets, earrings, a red bead necklace, perhaps coral and from a relative who was a sailor, a red balloon sleeve dress with lace and blue belt with gold-colored fittings, the work is unsigned.
Measures 3.25 x 2.75 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, some craquelure of the paint, his work has not been examined outside the frame.
