150: A 19TH CENTURY PORTRAIT OF A WOMAN

The circa 1800 oil on canvas portrait depicting a woman of unusual fashion wearing a large plumed hat, scarf around her neck and waist sash with large ornate buckle, typical white lace balloon sleeve dress, her earrings depicted as star burst form with green stones radiating around what appear tp be pearl centers, her mutli-strand freshwater pearl necklace joined by a gold clasp with an emerald-colored center stone. Displayed in a good period frame, probably the original.
Canvas measures 23.5 x 19, frame is 29.25 x 25 inches.
Good condition - noting craquelure and scattered small losses as shown. Apparently the original stretchers, does not appear to be re-lined.
